WOMANiNG is a work illustrating the process of growing up and becoming an adult as a young woman in this age. Illustrations of universal experiences meet the personal narration of the illustrator, following her own journey of coming of age which includes so called taboo topics like body hair, menstruation, sexuality and the discrepancy that is forced upon the female body until today.

It’s a journey of balancing between extremes as a young adult trying to find out about oneself and the position one wants to take in this world. The book touches upon questions like:
What is the meaning of my body?
What makes a “real“ feminist?
And: Does all of that really matter?
